Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil was harvested from olive trees grown on our former property on the Central Coast of California. In 2001 we planted a combination of some of the most desirable Tuscan olive oil-producing varieties such as Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Moraiolo, and Pendolino which we believe produce the best oil when blended together. Our trees were minimally handled throughout the year with just one pruning to "lift their skirts" and a light application of an organic solution to repel insects. Our olive trees were Registered Organic with the county of San Luis Obispo, Ca. The milling facility is State-of-the-art.
These are the same trees and oil as our previous label, Olive Diva. We now bottle all our oil and balsamic in the Passione label.
